Fashion Cuties Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, who design the Row and Elizabeth and James were spotted at the 2009 Council of Fashion Designers of America’s new member’s reception at the Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City.
During a panel discussion, they both expressed their individual fashion senses. Ashley revealed that she and her twin sister got into the fashion game to be creative rather than just looking to get their name out there.
She said: “A lot of celebrities get involved because they want to slap their name on it and it will add to their brand. And for us, it was totally different. That wasn’t my point. For me, when I look at it as a celebrity brand, it’s almost silly to me, because I’m not coming at it from a celebrity standpoint.”
