According the Sun-Times, the gloves are off between Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.  The tension has become so thick that the two women refuse to speak to one another off camera in contrast to their usual habit of screaming at one another on camera.   As the presidential election heated up the fighting increased on "The View".   Elisabeth is a McCain-Palin supporter, while Joy Behar favors the Obama-Biden ticket. 

Last week after  Elisabeth campaigned for Sarah Palin, Joy apparently made a joke at Hasselbeck’s expense - now Elisabeth did not take it too well.  Elizabeth fought back by saying she was happy to be at the rally so she could speak without being interrupted.   At this point on the view it is very politically unbalanced you have Elisabeth the staunch McCain supporter then Whoopi, Joy and Sherri a Obama supporter.   As for Barbara no one is really sure where she stands.   I wonder if there is a change in the wind for Elisabeth?  There is so much tension on "The View" I wonder if the rumors are true and will she look elsewhere for a job?
