Katie Holmes is in final negotiations to make her professional stage debut on Broadway. The producer of a revival of All My Sons, Arthur Miller’s heartbreaking, post-World War II family drama, is clearly hoping Holmes (aka the third Mrs Tom Cruise) will create some sizzle at the box office later this year.
It would be the first major revival of a Miller play since the dramatist’s death three years ago. Source

4 New Diesel Walls in NY, MANCHESTER, BARCELONA & ZURICH. Take Over These Spaces - These Walls Are Yours!
Launched on March 3rd, the 5th edition of the Diesel Wall art contest continues its tour around the world and reaches four new corners of the planet: Manchester (UK), Barcelona (Spain), Zurich (Switzerland) and NY (US).
From March 3rd until May 12th 2008 anyone from any country in the world can apply online http://www.dieselwall.com and submit his/her designs for the chance to feature in this new edition of the project and conquer a Wall! The artists will have total freedom in sending concepts: art is above all a means of unconstrained self-expression.
With this philosophy, Diesel created Diesel Wall five years ago, a competition dedicated to everyone, anywhere, offering the opportunity to change the urban landscape by showcasing works of art on an extraordinary scale. A monumental freestanding vertical wall centred in the world’s most important cities. The ultimate goal being to salvage what prominent precious public space we have left.
Diesel Wall will take your art, your power of dissuasion, your ability to disrupt, incite and intrigue, mystify and comment. Artworks - conceived for a specific Wall or for all four Walls - can use painting, photography, video, and performance, light, sound, text, experimental concepts including 3D, performance and show elements are also welcome.
From mid-April to June 2008 local juries will get together in order to select the Diesel Wall winners for each city and the winner will be announced June 10th, 2008. The jury members for this year will include among others Bigas Luna, Peter Saville, Terry Jones, and Wilbert Das, Diesel’s Creative Director, joining each judging panel in all four different countries. From May to July 2008, depending on each city’s Diesel Wall timeline, winners will be announced both through the website and local events to then proceed with the setting-up of the winning installations on each Wall.
Diesel is a worldwide, forward thinking, fashion company. From its headquarters in Molvena (Italy) it directly manages more than 15 subsidiaries across Europe, Asia and the Americas. It is now present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores. Diesel is part of the holding Only the Brave, which also incorporates Staff International - a company that manufactures and distributes brands such as Diesel Denim Gallery, Maison Martin Margiela, Sophia Kokosalaki, DSquared2, Vivienne Westwood - Neuf, the owner and operating company of Maison Martin Margiela, of which Renzo Rosso is a majority shareholder, and 55DSL - a brand strongly linked to urban and street culture.

The truth about "The X-Files" sequel — some of it, anyway — is now out there. "X-Files" creator Chris Carter, writer Frank Spotnitz and other crew members gathered Wednesday to discuss the TV series — and declassify some information about the upcoming film. The popular Fox paranormal drama, which aired from 1993 to 2002, starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully
"While this is not a mythology movie, it’s true to everything that’s come before," Spotnitz said at the William S. Paley Television Festival. "It’s true to Mulder and Scully, who they are and where they would be this point in their lives and all of the experiences that they’ve had." The series first made the leap to the big screen with 1998’s "The X-Files: Fight the Future." Plans for another film were grounded in 2005 when Carter sued Fox over syndication profits for the show. The lawsuit was later settled.
Carter, who also directs the new movie, said it takes place in the present and uses a story envisioned when the series ended. While the show’s sprawling alien mythology isn’t part of the plot, Carter said there is a reference to Scully’s seemingly supernatural son, William, who was born in season eight and later given up for adoption. The film is due out July 25. Carter was tightlipped about the title.
"I can’t tell you," he said. "I know what I want it to be, but Fox has some ideas of their own." Source

LOST co executive producer Edward Kitsis spoke to Sci Fi Wire about the Flash Forwards: "This just seemed like the most interesting way to tell the rest of the story of the show. When we realised that we were only going to do three more seasons, it enabled us to starting thinking a little more out of the box in how we want to tell the remaining story that was left. The flash-forwards are, I think, just a great way to keep the show energised and tell the story in an interesting way. It was a brilliant idea by [fellow executive producer] Damon [Lindelof]."

Comedian ROBIN WILLIAMS is heading for a divorce - his wife MARSHA has filed papers in a California court to end their marriage. Producer Marsha Garces Williams, who had been married to the actor for 19 years, filed the petition in San Francisco last Friday (21Mar08) citing irreconcilable differences for the split.
The pair first met while Williams was still married to his first wife Valerie and Marsha was working as the couple’s nanny. They married in 1989, just months after the breakdown of his first union. Robin and Marsha often worked together - she produced his films Mrs. Doubtfire and Patch Adams - and they founded Blue Wolf Productions and the organisation Doctors Without Borders. They have two children together: daughter Zelda, 18, and 17-year-old son Cody. Source
