Britney Spears Undergoing Severe Amphetamine Detox In Mental Ward

Britney Spears is entering her third day at UCLA’s Medical Center, the result of her three-day sleepless stint on amphetamine-based Adderall, a prescription drug remarkably similar to the street drug commonly known as "speed," "meth," and "glass."
Britney is under surveillance 24 hours a day, and is currently locked up in the ‘extreme risk’ ward of the mental hospital and has been classified as "GD," as in "gravely disabled." Sources report that the singer has been alternating from screaming at her mother and sulking in a deep depression; characteristics that seem only to exemplify her alleged bi-polar condition.
It is rumored that Britney’s parents will apply to extend her stay at the mental ward for an additional two weeks, and Monday they are expected to reappear in court to also extend their powers of attorney for an additional period.
However, not everyone is in agreement with Britney’s parent’s actions. Sam Lutfi, Britney’s confidante and manager, has expressed quite clearly his conviction that Britney’s parents are here only for their daughter’s sizable estate. Source
